Yes! Our instructors can provide proof of completion of an approved manager certification course of study for your Application for Ohio Department of Health Manager Certification in Food Protection.  


Yes! All Prep Safe Institute instructors hold certifications from ServSafe® and the Ohio Department of Health. In addition to their credentials, each instructor brings extensive hands-on industry experience to ensure high-quality, practical training. 


The course materials used in this training are provided by ServSafe®, the nationally recognized leader in food safety education. Upon successfully passing the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Examination, you will receive a Level 2 Food Protection Manager Certification from ServSafe®. Your exam scores and proof of attending the 8 hour course is then submitted to the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), which will issue your official Ohio Manager Certification in Food Protection, as required by state regulations. 


The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) requires that every food establishment have at least one individual with a Level 2 Food Protection Certification from ServSafe® and a corresponding Ohio Manager Certification in Food Protection. Many companies also require all of their managers to hold these certifications. These credentials ensure that you and your team are trained in proper food safety practices, contamination prevention, and compliance with state regulations—helping to protect your customers, your business, and your staff.
